Clovelly

Beautifully appointed on the Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, Clovelly is built on the hills surrounding a narrow bay. Clovelly beach is small and tranquil, and popular with families. Concrete platforms and promenades similar to those on the Italian coast line either side of the bay, ideal for sunbathing or diving into the water from. Clovelly has its own surf lifesaving club and a beachside cafe.

Set back from the beach is the beloved Clovelly Hotel, a sprinkling of cafes and a popular local grocer. Clovelly Road runs the length of much of Clovelly and houses cafes and independent shops including the Instagram-famous vintage boutiques Trading in Style and The Frock Exchange.

Clovelly is a lovely suburb for walking, with tree-lined streets and small hidden parks. Bus routes link Clovelly with surrounding suburbs and the extensive amenities and train station at Bondi Junction. Clovelly Public School is the local primary. The closest high schools are in Randwick, Waverley, Bronte and Rose Bay.
